God who is Almighty, He is God who works in wonders. He does things people tend to marvel on. Necodemus being a teacher of the Law and ruler of the Jews marveled at what Jesus told him. For all his life being a law keeper he thought we are the ones who do things for God in order to be approved of God, but here Jesus was doing things for humanity in order for humanity to be accepted to God and for Him to approve us through Christ. Jesus was speaking spiritual language to a person who is not spiritual awake.
Flesh gives birth to flesh and Spirit gives birth to spirit. As it wasn't in our power to be born in this world. We never assisted God, when we were formed in our mothers womb (Psa. 139:13-14) For us to be born in this world and being given a chance to life, we didn't work for it. It was God who made us to experience what it is to live in the flesh. From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.
(Acts 17:26-27)
For a long time we have identified ourselves with who we are in the flesh rather than in the spirit. Because human beings are spiritual beings who are experiencing life in the flesh. This body contains our spirit. Since Adam died in the Spirit, but through Jesus Christ we receive and obtain our true identity. For ages we were enslaved to this flesh and worldly rudiments, but Jesus Christ came to show us that we are older than this flesh, we existed before the world began, before we were born we were already existing in God with God (Jer. 1:5). So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. but the problem with us was we were born lost, born without our true identity. (John 1:14)
When a human gives birth to another human, the offspring possess all the attributes and genetics of the source the offspring is from. For example behavior tends to be the same, and structure tends to like of the father or mother, external organs tends to the same, even the skin pigment. Take a look at your son or daughter and take a look at yourself and see if you won't blush alone, it will be like you're seeing the copy of yourself, unless otherwise...
We honor that so much, and who we are according to our flesh we cannot change. Nevertheless, one thing that we can change is our spiritual identity, and be given birth by God through His spirit. It doesn't mean that when we received our true identity but being born again we must dishonor on our parents and who gave birth to us. No one on earth deserves the title of being a spiritual Father except God! our Pastors, Bishops and Apostles they are biblically parents in the Lord and our fathers and mothers in faith not spiritual.
Therefore, if we are begotten by God through believing in Jesus Christ spiritually we obtain God's image and likeness possessing all that God is. We also recieve all His attributes and abilities, if we continually claim, profess and follow His Son and confessing all that His Word says to reality and also live according to what His Word says.
