What manner of love is this, that the lion has for its pride? You touch the lions pride you touch the lion itself. Love is what the lion gives the pride and its love provides care, protection and the pride leader defends his offspring from any attack by predators, such as hyenas.
A pride is a place where one boast about or a sense of one's own worth. The church is the pride of Jesus Christ. Through Him we can easily access all that we need for our spiritual and physical well-being. Pride goes before fall, but only when a man has pride in himself. Nevertheless, Jesus Christ takes pride not in Himself but in the Church His bride. Hence the devil transitioned from being Lucifer to satan because he took pride in himself but Christ takes pride in His bride.
Jesus Christ was boasting with Heavenly heritage by all the works and miracles He did, it was what He inherited from the Father. To an extent that Jesus said if we believe in Him we will even do the same works He has done, and even greater works, (John 14:12). As Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah that loves and protects the Church and we are co-hiers Him, Meaning we are also the heirs of God’s glory and heritage with Christ sharing the same attributes and qualities with Him.(Romans 8:17a)
What manner of love is this?
The first Heritage that the Father gave the chosen was love, as much as when a man is about to marry a woman the first thing he gives is love. However, the Father gave us the Heritage of Love that unconditional. The love heritage thing He gave us doesn't have no "ifs ands or buts" it is absolute. Love requires relationship, but law keeping will make us blunder to religion, by striving and trying to bargain the love of God by what we do for Him. Not knowing that love is already provided for us by His grace.
We just need to open our hearts to His love, this love heritage thing is not about the law, it is intimate, you can do nothing to make Him love you any more than He already does. When the Church begins to know that the world would change. The world doesn't know us because it thinks our love Heritage thing is of the physical, but its beyond. Little did the world knew that God paid a ransom to save us from the empty life we inherited from our ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. (1 Peter 1:18). It was our Father's love that did it all.
Heritage is a Love thing.
