There is nothing that brings humility and obedience to God in a person than finding his or her true identity, in this series *Our True Identity* we will discover how we are receive this true identity in Christ, as we lost our identity in Adam and in Christ we obtain it, as Jesus told Necodemus that he must be born again.
Today in the world we are living in, we encounter many people who label themselves in different ways, labeling self it means putting oneself in the place of another. Once someone loses identity, they loss their oneself!
Every resource has a source, the source of the dinner table and paper is a tree. Everything has something that it was made of. So basically we identify ourselves with what had made us and what manufactured us.
The problem comes where we recognize that everything that we identify ourselves with it was also created, what frustrate life and humanity is that we identify ourselves with perishable things, we identify ourselves with resources instead of a source.
Human beings are Spirit beings and trilogies, meaning they're made up of a Spirit, Soul, Body, whenever you try to separate one from the other it means death. The result of losing the sense of who we are starts when we label ourselves according to our "souls" which is our consciousness and personality or by our "mortality" which is race, language and perspective.
Where else our Spiritual identity remains vacant and empty, spiritual identity it is where we get the source of satisfaction and contentment. Necodemus was a teacher of the Law his Souls identification, he was a true Israelite that was his mortality and but he was lost in his Spirit, hence Jesus told him that he must be born again, he needs to measure his identity according to his spiritual being. It is essential that we must be Born again, because often when we identify ourselves in line with our souls and body we often gain pride.
