Today we have to many questions that we can not answer. Recently we have a global question of Covid-19 not even a single scientist, politician, even clergy men are under strain. We are wrapped up in a world full of questions but answers are scarce. Why wars within and without? Why murders and violence? Why envy and malice? Why the hate and witchcraft? Why adultery and immorality? Why drunkenness and revelings?

They all come from a barren grounds of our hearts, just as the land that is barren, it is good for but for nothing. The barren land brings hunger, it bring strives, it brings frustration, the ground that is barren and thirsty does not profit the farmer. So it is when the human heart lacks water, it cannot pump blood because water carries oxygen that gives the heart strength, also with the heart that lacks the Word of God, it becomes barren, as Jesus once said that "all things that we drink and eat doesn't water our hearts, but they only passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer. But what comes from a barren hearts, that is evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft and murder etc. Those are the things that causes to many questions without an answer, it is all that comes from our barren hearts that defiles us.(Mark 7:19-23)

Jericho was the beautiful city in the Land of Israel, it was pleasant and attractive, just like our world when you view it inside a plane that is flying 5.9 to 7.2 miles high, all things looks green and waters are with life, but when you land you find a different song that is sang, so it was with Jericho. As it is with our churches, even us pastors and Christians we not what most of people think we are, we do have barren parts in our hearts, but the grace of God covers all our barrenness. The noble men of Jericho came to the man of God and report all the misery they're in the problem was that water was there but it was bad, just like oasis of Marah, it is so important to question the word is being preached to you and question the dogma you follow because you are the product of it.

the barrenness in our hearts, it is caused by not receiving Christ as your personal savoir and also it is caused by heresies, dogma and doctrines we follow. Only the Gospel of Grace can fertilize our hearts to produce good and everlasting fruits.
